Brandon and Virginias love story began one enchanting afternoon at The Tap House. As the sun dipped low, casting a warm glow over the bar, Virginia walked in, immediately capturing Brandons attention. He couldnt take his eyes off her. Struck by her elegance and beauty, he thought to himself, Damn, that is a woman, not a girl, a woman! She was unlike anyone he had ever seen in Bardstown.

Summoning his courage, Brandon approached her and offered this enchanting woman a drink. Virginia, intrigued by this tall stranger who she had not been acquainted with before, accepted his offer. They chatted effortlessly, and Brandon couldnt help but be mesmerized by how quickly she could type when texting and responding to notifications on her phone. Time flew by, and when it was time for Brandon to leave, his cab was waiting and he quickly stood up from the bar stool. With a sudden burst of boldness, he exclaimed, God, youre beautiful! and gently cupped Virginias face with both hands, planting a big kiss on her before turning and walking away, leaving her stunned and smitten.

The next day, Brandon couldnt stop thinking about Virginia so he asked if he could take her out to dinner. Virginia, with her busy work schedule, suggested breakfast instead. Determined and captivated by her, Brandon asked her out for breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a week, but Virginia kept politely declining. On the final night, while out with her best friend Kristy at The Tap House, Virginia decided she had to say yes to whatever Brandon asked next, fearing he might give up. That night, as if by fate, Brandon walked into the bar unexpectedly and invited her to a bonfire birthday party. This time, Virginia agreed.

At the bonfire, with only a few people around, Virginia felt a bit out of place and considered leaving. Brandon, sensing her discomfort, gently asked her to dance in the birthday boy’s kitchen to the sound of the radio. Wanting to be clear about her intentions, Virginia declared, Im not looking for another fun time or hook up. Im looking for real commitment. Im looking for my husband! Brandon, confidently spun Virginia around their imaginary dance floor and replied, Well, I think you just found him.

From that moment, their bond grew stronger. Virginia admired Brandons patience with his son Eli and his unwavering support as a partner. On January 20, 2023, one Friday after work, Brandon decided it was time to propose. This soon-to-be-groom transformed their home into a romantic wonderland with rose petals and tea lights, spelling out Will You Marry Me? in lit-up letters across their mantle. With a brilliantly lit ring box in hand, he got down on one knee. The intimate moment was filled with tears of joy as he asked Virginia to marry him. Despite his nerves, he knew this proposal would be his last and couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with Virginia as his wife. Virginia, overwhelmed and honored to be asked this life-changing question, exclaimed, “Yes!”. To top off the magical evening, Brandon had planned a grand engagement party with their closest friends and family traveling locally and from out of town. It was the perfect celebration for the happy couple.

In anticipation for their upcoming “HH Wedding Experience”, Brandon and Virginia traveled to the beautiful state of Washington in 2021, for a friends wedding. The two experienced all that the Pacific Northwest could offer from visiting the capitol, Olympia, to climbing the Space Needle, kayaking with orcas, and taking in the breathtaking wine country in Yakima Valley. During this trip, they fell in love with Fortuity Cellars, its owners, Emily and Lee, and the Chance Moments leading them to meet one evening in August. It was a Fortuitous day when the winery owners met in rainy Seattle, inspiring the name of their winery 4 years prior. Just as Emily and Lees journey as winery owners and life partners was guided by Fortuity, so was the moment Brandon and Virginia met and continue to experience life’s chance moments and fortunes. Now, it only makes sense for them to return to Fortuity Cellars to celebrate and be married.

Virginia feels more sure and secure in her relationship with Brandon than ever before, thanks to his unwavering love and acceptance. For Brandon, the two are truly are a partnership, working together on their problems, celebrating successes, and achieving more together than they ever could apart.
